課程概述

Apomixis and agamospermy are common mechanisms in plant asexual reproduction. We will discuss the topics related to apomixis through a series of selected literature, starting with terminology and a few review papers on apomixis. We will then discuss a couple of papers on polyploidy, hybridization in the apomictic species. Lastly we will discuss some recent advances on the gene regulation on apomixis in plants.
